IT Show 2010 – A Roaring Success

With the massive turnout and record sales, this year’s IT Show was a rousing success. As usual, was in the thick of the action, arming consumers with information about the best deals even before the fair began.

Pre-IT Show Coverage

Seasoned tech show-goers will tell you that planning is key – and HWZ definitely gives its readers an advantage in this regard.

The HWZ team gave consumers a sneak peak of what to expect via a Preview article , enabling them to plan their purchases in advance. This article was updated as and when new information came in. The result was 20 pages worth of information with a brief lowdown of all major booths. Star products were also highlighted, complete with pictures and features.

Any brochures we had were promptly uploaded and shared with the community via our Picasa folder .

Of course, our dedicated IT Show Forum was abuzz with discussion right from the get-go, with users sharing their buying tips and plans.

During IT Show Coverage

Upon the team’s arrival at Suntec Convention Centre, no time was wasted in getting information out to our readers. Our team of roving journalists went around the showfloor, sharing interesting deals with our readers via Twitter . Those unable to make it down to the Show early were kept informed of the latest deals in real time.

Within the first day of the Show, the team had already churned out 38 pages of in-depth Show coverage, spread over 2 parts.

With the HWZ suite of tech show features like Forums, Previews, Coverage, Live Twitter, Videos, Brochures and more, remains the key resource that consumers turn to during tech shows. The team remains dedicated in delivering fast, reliable, and in-depth information to consumers.
